When Doubts Come

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
John 14:1-4. (ESV Strong’s Bible)

There are times when doubts come into our lives. Jesus tells us that we don’t need to be troubled. He assures us that He has told us truth.

How do we know we can trust God’s word when the doubts come creeping in?

There are four reasons why we can have confidence that God will keep His promises…

1) His omnipotence… He is powerful enough to create everything.
2) His omniscience… He can never forget a promise He made to us.
3) His goodness… He will always do what is best for us, never disappointing us.
4) His faithfulness… God cannot lie.

If we live in doubt or fear we are insulting God.
